And yes, if you're taking a taxi from the centre of town late at night it's highly likely that you will want to get back to where you're staying the night, whether it's NYE or not. And there's been very little information released AFAICT about just how like a taxi this car actually looked -- for example, sober or otherwise, do you always check that the taxi licence plate matches the car licence plate every time you get into a taxi? I know I don't.
