I was kind of opposed to it, because as a small kid I both lived somewhere with heavily fluoridated water and had internalised "You MUST brush your teeth" so much that my milk teeth settled in and refused to move and many had to be extracted all at one go, which was unsettling. I spent some time with nothing between my canines.
