I'm not really sure... you have to do a lot of jumping (though not very high) and stepping mostly on your toes (i.e. on the tappy bits), so if walking on your toes (not on tiptoe as such, basically just on the balls of your feet) requires lots of balance then, um, yes, probably. (Dunno if that helps at all.) I was always told that I wouldn't be able to do it because of having weak ankles, but I actually found that it really helped my ankles, which really made me feel like a Noel Streatfeild heroine. :-)
If you think you'd enjoy it (& can find lessons you can afford -- I'm currently paying £4 a lesson, just for a general order-of-magnitude wassname) it's probably worth a go! It's really good fun, and good exercise for the legs. Though I really probably need to do something that exercises something other than my legs for a change...
