Inboxing clever

Today's post is on another blog which I don't update often enough (though I really should because it's the closest thing I have to a professional blog -- on the other hand we do now have a blogging service at work, which I should probably be starting to use for actually-work-related things... MORE HOURS IN DAY PLS KTHX).

And I think you can sort of do expiring email in gmail if your default views are searching for email which has a specific tag and arrived in a certain window of time ago, but it's a faff to set up. (Someone has probably written a plug-in which does that sort of thing, but I've not seen it.)

Gmail also has tagging and filtering out the wazoo (Google in understanding searching shocker), but what they really really need is some form of the nesting you could get with folders, so I could tag stuff Conversations/Lisa and Conversations/Keith and have one rather than two entries on the Big List of Tags Labels.
