I'm really ashamed of this, but I always get Stoppard and Pinter confused. By which I mean I keep mixing them up in my head, not that I make them confused. And there's another playwright that I confuse with the both of them, but I forget his name now.
The trouble is, it's a forgiveable mistake when people think you've just got a temporary brain-wrong because of the heat or whatever, but they don't realise that I just CANNOT sort them out in my brain. Maybe because I've never really tried. It just seems easier to keep pretending each mistake is a one-off. Even if it means drinking in a different bar every night.
