I did something I've never done before at lunchtime.

Clarification: I had never done this thing before at lunchtime or at any other time. (And it's really not that interesting, I was just being daft & interested to know what people thought I might have done.)

I don't even think I'd want to do any of those, to be honest. I don't use makeup; I'm still recovering from the last failed relationship so I don't really want to date anybody (though it would be nice to randomly meet somebody in town who turned out to be nice, and maybe go out for a drink with them and other friends some time, if that counts); and the idea of that much cycling makes my legs hurt just to think about it!

OTOH the thing I did wasn't as interesting as any of those, so. :)

It's actually not as bad as all that - I did it once, for the hell of it, when I worked at Logica which was conveniently situated on the ring road. You do have to be a bit careful though, as there are some bits that don't really have an official ring road and other bits where the ring road actually forks. ISTR that when you come over Lizzie Way and on down Chesterton Road, when you get to Mitcham's Corner the ring road is signposted as going both Chesterton Road/Lane and also up Victoria Road. BICBW.

So anyway, we're all dying to know what it actually was that you did! When are you going to spill the beans?
