I am Jack's pointless internet quiz
you
are tyler
instigator
of destruction (though you'd rather call it liberation)
you shun material things, your philosophy being
* the things you own end up owning you *
...you are the only person your friends know who knows how to make explosives
from soap...
see which character you are!

Oooh, now there's a good album. I really must have a look for her other stuff, I was going to ask for something for my birthday but we got broadband instead!

I've got Songs from the Gutter (http://www.theagilmore.com/gutter.htm) -- I can burn you a copy if you want. It's good, but hasn't grown on me as fast as "Rules for Jokers" did. (Maybe just because I haven't listened to it as much.)

Blame Bob Harris on a Saturday night on Radio 2. Except you're young and probably go out on a Saturday night and never heard of Radio 2, let alone Bob Harris...
However, I'd love a copy of Songs from the Gutter - I'd offer something in return but you'll have to get August to tell you what you might like of what I've got!

I'm young, and I go out on a Saturday night, yet I've herard of Radio 2, and even Whispering Bob...

You're older than me and j4, and I can remember when you didn't go out on a Saturday night.

Um, I listen to R2 in the mornings (though you're right, I do tend to go out on Saturday nights) and I have heard of Whispering Bob Harris. :-) That's not how I found Thea Gilmore though -- I just bought the single of "Fever Beats" on spec after seeing a good review of it (in which they compared TG to Joni Mitchell -- always a good sign!) in AdHoc. Pure luck really.
Will burn you a copy of SftG (email me with snail-mail address?) -- don't worry about something-in-return, either something will come up or it'll just get written down in the big book of Music-Sharing Karma.

Don't worry about posting - give August the CD as he's promised me a visit clad in leather.
If I remember I'll do you a copy of I, Lucifer by The Real Tuesday Weld. I don't care if you like it or not, I just think lots and lots more people should hear it!

I can think of other words for it, though...
