Cambridge: cancelled! :-(

Due to car-related fail I'm afraid we haven't managed to get out of Oxford so we won't be in Cambridge today. :-( Really sorry, folks. Many thanks to rmc28 for (hopefully) passing on the message -- hope nobody had a wasted journey.

HOWEVER: all being well we will try again NEXT SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH! Aiming for same time and same place otherwise. Hope people can make it then instead.

I did hope that any journey that ended at the Carlton wouldn't have been entirely wasted (except in the "excessive cider" sense). ;-) Hope to see you next Saturday!

Those pesky Welsh cidersmiths at Gwynt y Ddraig clearly put something in their cider; three halves of cider over four hours really shouldn't be enough to convert me into quite this woozy a badger.

I think I might have come the furthest - and since I got Rachel's message in time it was a conscious decision to still come and be sociable for a change :) Definitely hope to make it next Saturday instead though. Maybe with a Mike too since he won't have the football again (he's happy though - Liverpool won :)
