I'm working at the pub tonight, and they're having a charity "Casino Nite". So as bar staff I have to enter into the spirit and dress up, despite feeling fairly curmudgeonly about a) having to work on a Saturday, b) missing two parties as a result, and c) having to "get into the spirit" of something that I think is rather naff. Still, it's for charidee.

Anyway, "dress up" == black tie, basically, and I can't decide whether I should go in a dress or a tux:

So, vote please, and resolve my clothes crisis.

For some reason I think you look more comfortable in the tux in those pictures, so I'm voting for that. I'd suggest you wear whatever's most appropriate *and* practical :)

You look good in the tux, you look great in the dress.

Both look pretty darned good. I know it's post hoc, but I think in the tux I get a definite feeling of expecting you to be clientele and not staff, whereas it's less clear in the dress. (Beware, there may be innate culturally programmed sexism in my brain...)

Too late, but I think the tux looks better on you.

*hugs*
