Whereas touts can't possibly use debit cards, right, even with several months' advance warning that they'll have to use a debit card to get Glastonbury tickets? Um.

It's a lot harder to get multiple debit cards than credit cards, though, because you need a bank account for each one, and someone setting up loads of accounts would be flagged up as pontential money=-launderer or (these days) terrorist. It's still *possible* - just a lot harder to do.

Also debit cards take money *now* while credit cards don't need to be paid immediately and might have introductory very-low-interest rates
