Why does nobody want my shoes? They are nice shoes. They don't smell of poo or anything.

I think people worry more about the condition and cleanliness of secondhand shoes than they do about secondhand clothes, as clothes can go in the washing-machine. I've only ever bought one pair of charity shop shoes, and I buy charity shop clothes (and cuddly toys! cos you can wash them too) all the time.

Maybe you should add 'they don't smell of poo or anything' to the item description?

Some people prefer to buy only from people with lots of feedback. This may reduce your bidders in the early days...
