Coke habit
Nov. 12th, 2004 11:04 amOne of the things I thought I'd really miss in this office was being able to get coke whenever I wanted it. However, it looks like I don't have to give that up after all! Much happier now; and my lips, my fingers, and bits of my black corduroy skirt are covered in a fine white powder...
Yep, you guessed it, the tuck shop here does sherbet fountains. And I now know where the Coke machine is as well. Thanks to
rmc28 for the guided tour & top tips!

Date: 2004-11-12 03:33 am (UTC)The black corduroy skirt is a short A-line skirt, which may be cool (well, I like it, even if it makes me look like a teeny indie kid) but corduroy skirts are simply not as good as corduroy trousers. There's nothing quite like the sound -- or sensation -- of corduroyed thighs rubbing softly together...

Date: 2004-11-12 06:41 am (UTC)Alas, I can't bear to wear the stuff thanks to a 27-year aversion caused by a black corduroy pinafore dress that I was actually, genuinely, really, truly allergic to. We never did find out why, but it made me sneeze constantly. Ver ver strange.

Really? I don't think I knew that.

Date: 2004-11-12 07:14 am (UTC)The noises - you don't put your head anywhere near where I put mine (ooerr). They're micronoises because you do really have to have your ear right next to the fabric.

Date: 2004-11-12 11:35 am (UTC)I switched to dip-dabs, though, because I don't like liquorice, and tipping the contents of sherbet fountains into my mouth was, er, rather messy. :)
