They told me I should have a diary,
A journal for my thoughts and dreams and fears --
But who would want to read stuff about me?

I can't imagine who would want to see
My ramblings, my ravings, my ideas.

But look at just how long it's taken me
To join the latest craze with all my peers.

Still, now I have a place where I am free
