What weasel am I? )

And while I rather like this result... FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! What weasel are you? This really is plumbing the depths.

* * *

In other news: feeling a lot better today. Stomach pains seem to be dying down (which does rather make me suspect that stress was aggravating them, if not actually causing them) and I've got through the morning on only two cans of coke (this sounds bad, but is actually a slight improvement).

Lovely to see [livejournal.com profile] hoiho again last night; we accidentally ended up in the Carlton pub quiz (with [livejournal.com profile] mobbsy and [livejournal.com profile] beckyc) and came a very respectable second place. Then back to Hermitage for coffee.

Folk festival ticket for [livejournal.com profile] hoiho (which is what all the eBay fuss was about) should be in the post today, so should arrive tomorrow (when I'll actually be in to catch the recorded delivery!). Also, my latest order of CDs from Amazon was despatched today, so with any luck that will turn up tomorrow too. Nice timing.

Karate lesson yesterday was good; feel like things are coming together a lot better. Still REALLY need to practice more (i.e. "at all", ahem) though.

Pub as usual tonight (after I've finished the job application, sigh), and no work tomorrow (though I have to be in and awake-ish when the niceman from 24/7 turns up to take our spare electricity away). Then Skelliga gig tomorrow night at the Portland.

Now if only I could stop feeling guilty for being a bit happier... <sigh>

Okay, for once in my life I am trying to be organised.

There are lots of things coming up that I'd like to go to, and ideally I'd like to go with other people. So I'm trying to find out who wants to go to what, and how many people I'm buying tickets for (since it's easier/cheaper to buy them in big blocks) ... and who wants to come with me but is happy to sort out their own tickets BEFORE they're all sold out and I have to resort to eBay to get them. *ahem*

First thing: EROTICA at London Olympia, November 14th-16th. Tickets are £12.50/£15.50/£13.50 (Fri/Sat/Sun), but being on the mailing list I can get tickets cheaper, without the 10% booking fee, and if I buy three tickets I get one free, if I order them before the end of July. Obviously this offer is running out VERY SOON so I want to order NOW. Current plan is to order 5 tickets since I can almost certainly find 5 people who want to go; shout if you want me to add another ticket to this order. (Unfortunately I only get one free ticket per offer though...) I'm planning to go on the Saturday.

Other things, mostly gigs, which I would really like to go to, and would like to buy tickets sooner rather than later so I don't miss out:

Wednesday 2003-09-24: Kate Rusby, at the Corn Exchange. Tickets £14.50/£12.50.

Sunday 2003-09-28: Elbow, at the Junction. Tickets £11 (£10 adv).

Wednesday 2003-10-08: Keith Emerson and The Nice, at the Corn Exchange. Tickets £25.00.

Wednesday 2003-10-15: The Proclaimers, at the Junction. Tickets £15 (£14 adv).

Saturday 2003-10-25 / Sunday 2003-10-26: Reduced Shakespeare Company: "All the Great Books (abridged)", at the Corn Exchange. Tickets £13.50/£11.50.

Tuesday 2003-11-18: Eric Bibb, at the Corn Exchange. Tickets £15.50/£13.50.

Monday 2003-12-08: The Levellers, at the Corn Exchange. Tickets £15.00.

Thursday 2003-12-11: The Human League, at the Corn Exchange. Tickets £15.00.

Phew.

Anyway, please let me know either in a comment or by email if you want me to get a ticket for you, and/or if you're planning on going & just want to meet up. Thanks.
