Jul. 14th, 2004 12:47 pmSubject line of spam: "Griboe-dov's, the deceased's head". Sounded rather freakish and Elder-Gods-ish until I realised what it was.
There's a lot of wittering about decontextualised language, devalued signs, and the erosion of meaning etc. etc. (moo, moo) that I want to do, and do properly without mooing, but it will have to wait until after the Graduate Studies Prospectus is nailed down.
On a sillier note, sign seen in university department: "Student Photocopier". I couldn't help wondering if this was like "Cashier in training, please be patient".
My head is full of words. Sometimes I can't make myself heard over the noise.
