I go to the hills when my heart is lonely

At the moment I feel miserable about the whole thing, mostly because I'll be the only single person there (I'm going with my parents, & my sister and her boyfriend) and will have no easy way of getting around without tagging on behind them. I suppose I should be brushing up my French and hoping to meet an attractive and single vineyard-owner, but I feel more like curling up under a rock and crying.
Anyway. While I'm away I will have net access, but only dialup, so don't expect instantaneous replies to anything. I will have my mobile, but SMS abroad is expensive. Besides, to be honest, it'd be good to have a break from 24/7 wishing-for-contact.
