Not as much as an hours vigourous cycle. But, 15 mins each way = 30 mins each day, for a 200 working day year = 100 hours extra exercise per year. It all adds up, its infinitely better for you than sitting on a bus nibbling biscuits.
But seeing as you are cycling down a path / cycle track rather than a road with traffic, your road traffic risk is significantly lessened, resulting in your short journey being even more efficient at increasing your life expectancy.
