Feeling very sick and ill today
Wish I knew what was wrong with my stomach. Been feeling sick since Sunday, and it seems to get worse after I eat anything. On Sunday I was ill as a result of drinking too much on Saturday night, but I can't still be suffering from the effects of a hangover, surely? ... And besides, I've had this kind of stomach pain before when no alcohol was involved.
I've been to doctors about it before but they just say "it's a stomach bug, now sod off" or words to that effect.
Just sick and tired of feeling ill all the time. :-( And not looking forward to trying to do an interview in two hours' time, since I have a choice between being so hungry that my stomach's rumbling audibly, or risking being doubled up in pain, neither of which looks good to prospective employers.

Doctors is crap, I currently think.

Lovely
Bad stomach. No biscuit.

I hope that its not wheat which is causing you to be icky - when it comes down to it, the whole wheat allergy thing is a lot more hassle than anything else I impose on the food I eat (veggie, S/W, etc).
Good luck for your interview.

(The journey there is worrying me more than the interview to be honest. I have no sense of direction and will doubtless get hideously lost.)

Tomato soup is also good for delicate stomachs, I find.
good luck for interview! *hugs*

I do sometimes wonder if all vaguely-stomach-ish medicines are actually just the same thing, though. I get the impression that doctors can't really tell what's going on in the stomach very easily, so they just throw standard remedies at it in the hope that it will draw out the black humours, or whatever.
I've got a stomach medicine thing at home which is basically chalky liquid (about the consistency of cornflour in water) that tastes of peppermint and contains chloroform. Chloroform, for heaven's sakes! Tastes good, though. Minty. Mmmm.

Chloroform sounds very bizarre as an ingredient... make sure not to sniff too hard as you open the bottle!
