Wish I knew what was wrong with my stomach. Been feeling sick since Sunday, and it seems to get worse after I eat anything. On Sunday I was ill as a result of drinking too much on Saturday night, but I can't still be suffering from the effects of a hangover, surely? ... And besides, I've had this kind of stomach pain before when no alcohol was involved.

I've been to doctors about it before but they just say "it's a stomach bug, now sod off" or words to that effect.

Just sick and tired of feeling ill all the time. :-( And not looking forward to trying to do an interview in two hours' time, since I have a choice between being so hungry that my stomach's rumbling audibly, or risking being doubled up in pain, neither of which looks good to prospective employers.

You could try some dry bread or crackers? It's about as inoffensive as you can get, I think, and might stave off loud rumblings without causing you pain?

Doctors is crap, I currently think.

I don't have any dry bread or crackers in work... had a ginger nut which has made me feel ill again but it's only a small biscuit so hopefully the effects will have quietened down by the time I do the interview.

Lovely [livejournal.com profile] brrm has volunteered to make me TOAST afterwards though, before we go and play with cars. And toast should be safe, unless it's wheat that's making me feel icky... don't want to go down that road though. :-(

Bad stomach. No biscuit.

I hope that its not wheat which is causing you to be icky - when it comes down to it, the whole wheat allergy thing is a lot more hassle than anything else I impose on the food I eat (veggie, S/W, etc).

Good luck for your interview.
