Six appeal

j4BBC 6 Music is really awfully good, isn't it? I haven't listened to proper radio for ages -- only Radio 2, which is also good, but is more like curling up in front of the fire with port and slippers than going to challenging evening classes.
The best thing about 6 is, because it's a cool music station, I know all the music they play must be cool -- so I don't have to worry about my musical credibility! Today I have liked Supersystem, Ladytron (who I already liked a bit, I think), Martha Wainwright (ditto), Marc Mulcahy, N.E.R.D., and Sons and Daughters.
But, hey, they were playing Joy Division's "Transmission" just now, and just as it went "live transmission", the audio stream cut out. You couldn't make it up.
