I don't remember making Christmas puddings at home either, the only home-made one I vaguely remember was way back in Bramhall and long enough ago that I might have misremembered or dreamed it. I do remember the Christmas cakes though (and the importance of stirring!), and that memorable year when we thought we always did double quantities of the recipe... :-)
