j4 too! I'm so glad you have the best baby and would be glad to hear more about her; don't be afraid that baby anecdotes are boring.

Update since you haven't been reading:

cartesiandaemon and I have been dating

ghoti and

cjwatson for two years. I'm weekly commuting between my job at Keele and my life and relationships in Cambridge. The latter is generally wonderful and the former is kind of a very slow train-wreck, so I'm working towards giving up a conventional academic career to look for something more support-ish which would let me move to Cam full time.
