j4Orchestra concert last night wasn't very good from a technical point of view, but our audience (the Stroke Rehabilitation Ward at Addenbrookes) seemed to enjoy it. One man said it was the best thing he'd heard for years, and it brought tears to his eyes. Well, I can understand the latter reaction, at least... But seriously, the CCO isn't primarily about technical prowess; it's more about taking music into the community. And we certainly succeeded in that aim.
We're doing another concert on Saturday, at St Andrew's Church, Chesterton. The concert starts at 7pm, and is in aid of the St. Andrew's Hall project. Price: £5 adults, £3 concessions.
