Badgerwatching.

Well, I'm thinking of volunteering for next year's badger-watching thing in Wytham Woods -- see this article (http://www.oxfordtoday.ox.ac.uk/archive/0102/14_2/01.shtml) for more details, and this slightly relevant page (http://www.wildcru.org/aboutus.htm) for a gorgeous photo of badgers (in the bottom right-hand corner).

So if you really want to go badger-watching with me, I'll let you know when the time comes to sign up ...

Golly, that sounds fantastic. And it has been proved at a Canal Day in Oxford that I'm good at identifying species from their dung...

Meeting up for a coffee?

Another wish I can grant! Well, subject to availability (of me rather than of coffee). Suggest a time/place... :)

Heh, that'd require me being in Cambridge at some point, or us both being somewhere else (e.g. Oxford?) at the same time. Somehow I suspect the likelihood of your having a reason to venture as far as SW London/NE Surrey is not high?

I'm occasionally in Oxford, and occasionally in London (less likely to be in either in the near future because of the current financial situation). Surrey even less likely, I'm afraid.

Come to Cambridge, it's sunny here! :)

Catch up properly. Its been a few years since we last talked (apart from the snatched conversation at B Movie) and I'd love to just sit and talk.

Tell you that you're too much of a perfectionist about yourself, and that you needn't set your standards so high. And then get you to teach me to juggle.

From: [identity profile] j4.livejournal.com
Hah! I can't juggle. I can about keep a three-ball cascade going for just long enough to demonstrate the principle. You could teach yourself to do that in a lunchbreak, if you haven't done already.

Time to talk in peace without a DefaultCambridgeGeekParty happening all around.

Also, hugs. *hug*

That would be good. I tend to avoid DefaultCambridgeGeekParties these days, to be honest: different beer, same conversations.

Hugs would be good, too. You have no idea how much I need a Real Live Hug right now. :-/

I think I would like to sit in the sun with you outside a pavement cafe in, say, Paris, or Rome, or Athens, or Chicago, or anywhere with potential that does not mind drunks in public, and is vaguely not dangerous, getting pissed and making fun of the passers by.

That sounds like an absolutely bloody marvellous idea. Yes! It's a date. For some unspecified time in the future when we both have time/money/etc.

Did I tell you yet that you're fab? No? You're fab, you are.

This is an emem which looks like it's inviting really smutty answers, but most people are far too polite to give them. How disappointing.

You get to go to some fantastic parties. I would like to go to some of them with you, along with lots of other interesting people as well.
