I know quite a few of my readers here read Georgette Heyer. I seem to recall that one of them (at least!) said they wanted my copy of Powder and Patch (1962 Pan pb), but I can't remember who...

Does anybody want a copy of Anne Digby's Second Term at Trebizon? (Slightly tatty 1981 pb copy.) I seem to have acquired duplicates.

Not my line at all Janet, but if you do come across any Molesworths or Bunters or hardback Newnes editions of Richmal Crompton's William books gimme a shout!

Heh. If I had the Molesworths I'd keep 'em! And the others are not really my scene...

There's a Penguin Modern Classics paperback edition of all 4 Molesworths available, btw, if you didn't already know this. (but probably you did & are after nice hardback/old pbk editions... Myself, whilst I *like* nice hardback editions, I'll settle for new pbk when they're unabridged, which this one is afaik)

It's okay, I'll take my books back to make some room on your shelves, since you're never going to read them!

I didn't, but I'm after cheap editions. :)

Thanks Juliet, now I know what to spend the next round of PayPal virtual money on! But if the originals crop up, I'd still be very much in the market for them.

I believe it's gone out of print -- see the estimated delivery time of 3 to 5 weeks, and the prices advertised for second hand copies.

I'll take the Trebizon one off your hands if it isn't the one [livejournal.com profile] ghoti was after?

Ooh, me please me please for the Heyer!

(but it wasn't me that wanted it before - though I would have done had I known! - so if they pipe up they ought to get it, I guess)

Wouldn't have minded the Trebizon, either, but that's already been nabbed, I see.
