Hmmm... How shall I spend the next ten minutes in the office today?

• Attempt to join in a conversation about Chelsea FC;
• Read the latest gushing joyous message from HR about the Employee Empowerment Program;
• Return to the unending exchange of emails from an idiot who insists he needs 256 columns in his database table;
• Force-feed the bastard golf balls and tabasco;
• Try, again, to make sense of a messy spaghetti-coded cross-linked spreadsheet that is our Quant's Example and Tutorial sheet for pricing cross-currency callable range accrual notes;
• Spend a blissful half-hour with a vacant expression, snapping myself with the elasticated waistband of my underpants;
• Catch up on recent trends in Eurozone Treasury issuance
• Read Jan's Journal and be somewhere else for a few minutes?

Even the whining bits are expressively-written and engage some of my remaining humanity. The rest is just soooo not-working-in-a-bank. Which, perversely, I happen to love but not all the time and not very much at all today.
