You know when you've been badgered
Sep. 17th, 2004 05:26 pmBig badgery thank you to the person who sent me a magazine with an article on badgers in it -- I can't read your signature... :-}
I notice the badger article is just after an article on mushrooms as well!

Date: 2004-09-17 02:26 pm (UTC)Don't knock the nice cuddly developers' lack of originality - at least they are trying. Unlike the besuited turnips who laid out the grassy and suburban Earlsfort Estate outside Lucan, where my cousin and her husband lived on Earlsfort Green...
"Get off the bus at Earlsfort Gate and walk up Earlsfort Avenue, past Earlsfort way and Earlfort Drive, turn right at Earlsfort Road and left into Earlsfort Close. Take the first right into Earlsfort Park and the road opens out into Earlfort Green." I think. I may be confusing it with Earlsfort View. When I went there first, the place was so new, there was no Map and we shall draw a kindly veil over my attempts to navigate; it was even harder to find than another cousin's house on the only street in the Glencairn Estate which isn't called 'Glencairn' something-or-other.EDIT: links repaired
Still, at least they are nicer houses - with varied designs - then the ugly rash of Barrat Boxes that disfigures much of Leicesershire, where I cycled as a lad.
