I keep getting mail entitled "viagra soft tabs". If the spammers know I live in Cambridge, surely they should also know that I'm unlikely to suffer from the sort of softness that can be fixed with viagra?

Boy, I hate it when I have to work that hard for a crap pun.

I've had three completely empty spams this afternoon, of which the third one had that subject heading. How they expect me to buy any when there's no URL or even a valid return address I don't know.

The annoying thing is that because they're empty the spam filter doesn't have enough basis for blocking them.

Ah, this is the most insidious form of spam of all. It's parts 1, 2 and 3 of a 1,876-message set, and when you put the message-IDs of all 1,876 parts together, they form an audiostereogram of George W. Bush above text saying "VOTE FOR ME OR I'LL KILL ALL THE baaaaabyanimals."

Now I have a visual earworm

I usually get spam mail from those Nigerian con artists and people selling septic tanks. But chewy Viagra? I thought most blokes that needed to use it wouldn't have teeth to deal with chewing it.
