j4... as I realise that all I am is a big ugly stack of tatty books and shoes that's blocking the view of the TV.

On the other hand, my things are an extension of me, in a way; they're the things I choose to acquire and keep, the things that echo me and project my self to the world. It's not really the things that are the problem, it's the attitudes; but it's the things that take up the space, it's the things that get tripped over.
