From common places to common interests. I'm disappointed that this colourful exercise in self-classification doesn't distinguish between "rare" and "unique", but I can't quite be bothered to doctor it accordingly...

Also, there are things in my interests list that I should take out... but that's really scraping the displacement-activities barrel.

I like the way that 2 people have "more badgers" but only you are hardcore enough to have "yet more badgers".

I am tempted to escalate the situation by adding "even more badgers than that" as an interest. What would you do THEN?

Similarly, nine people list 'mature cheddar' but only I demand 'extra mature cheddar'.

Lightweight! I always seek Anchor Special Reserve cheddar, or failing that then Vintage at the very least.

I would add "infinite badgers"!

There seem no badgers because it is all badger!

I'm pretty sure [livejournal.com profile] bopeepsheep has played it to me... but I can't remember much about it. My memory is like a, er, thingy.

We actually heard this performed live on Saturday evening. For some reason [livejournal.com profile] j4 declined to come with us. ;-)

But she'd have needed to book in advance anyway (as did we), as it was sold out when we arrived.

And Kenny wrote something about badgers while autographing the set-list that [livejournal.com profile] bopeepsheep swiped off the stage once they had abandoned it.

(Boo, don't have a badger icon.)

"Infinite" is quite an unusual size for a badger.

It's nice to know that if I need any My Little Pony figures mutilated that there are 4 other people I can call upon if you're not around!

That was one of the ones I was going to take out, actually, since it's not really something I'm interested in - it was only put there in a moment of childish bitchiness to annoy a My Little Pony obsessive...

You have to admit, it was funny (and childish) at the time :)

Would've been funnier to actually do the pony-mutilation! :)

I've put in a few things to annoy other people as well but I took them out because I didn't get any flailing comments about them. Bah.

At my birthday murder mystery thingie last night because it had a magic theme we cut a pony in half, in a box with stars on it and everything.. I guess that counts as mutilation :)

Hope you had a really good birthday, and I'm sorry my birthday wishes are so late!

Thank you, it's OK. I didn't really tell anyone this year because I didn't want to make a fuss.

We had a murder mystery party and the next day I watched large amounts of films.

Hmmm... Well I did the meme myself and wondered: would lots of idiosyncratic interests mark me out as boring (as opposed to being marked, nay branded by my pinstripe suit and conversational abilities). I mean, how interesting is it to be interested in things that no-one else is interested in?

Probably thousands, but I'm not about to google for them at work!

I don't know what it says about the denizens of LJ that BDSM is considered "common".
