Kn*ckers! I have left my mobile phone in work. If anybody has texted me since about 5:30pm I'm afraid I won't see it until tomorrow morning.

I leave my mobile phone at work half the time, but since nobody ever texts me it doesn't matter. I'm experiencing the communications revolution in reverse - pretty soon, the only way for anyone to contact me will be to give a note to a crossing-sweeper and promise him half-a-crown if he delivers it to me.
