REQUEST FOR THE FELLOWSHIP/SCHOLARSHIPS TO COMPLETE MY RESEARCH

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am M----- K---- from a village of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. I have recently completed B.Tech Dairy Technology from Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University.

Now I have considered for M.Tech leading to Probationary Ph.D. as a Research Scholar (4year Program) in The University Of Melbourne, Australia.

My Research Project is The Glycemic Index Of Processed Starchy Foods. My scholarships are the conditional. I am totaly dedicated to my research. Everyone knows about the current situation of the global problems such as Obessity, Heart Deseases, Diabeties etc. These Problems are mostly created by the foods. I am comitted to stop/control all of these problems either by the classification or by treatment of foods. My Research will make the foods echo friendly to all the Old age persons who fear to take them as side effects/harms, same as to the regarding patients/abnorms conditionals. My Research will do all the world worryless from intaking any type of food! In this way I want to serve the Human Beings!

I have to join my research on January 2006. I have only consideration letter but unable to get visa due to financial problem. To get visa I have to show 15lakhs as a liquid money. My parents have no property to show the banks for getting educational loan. I have no gauranter who can help me on getting educational loan. My parents are too financially weak to help me !
I am worrying about my visa as regarding time shortage, the days are going 1 by 1.

I am requesting you to assist me as soon as possible! I pray to God for the success of everyone who want to serve his creation!

I can't even tell if this is spam. It's a fine line, with emails like this. I mean, it's a bit green-crayon, but he hasn't cc'd it to the webmasters of every single UK university, and we do get genuine requests for scholarship information that look like this.

I guess he'll get the standard boilerplate reply. *sigh*

are they normally scholarship requests to attend other universities though..? i mean - why write to england asking for funding to go to australia?

or is that how scholarships work?

We often get people asking us if we offer funding for them to do other courses elsewhere, so I'm guessing some other universities (possibly in the US?) do this -- otherwise it seems a bit of a daft thing to ask...

Well, these folks (http://www.naac-india.com/) think it is and have awarded it a grade of B++ (http://www.naac-india.com/grading.asp) under their charming no-minus grading system, though I'm not sure it isn't as much of a grades-for-cash paper institution as sundry spurious universities of which we have heard disparaging mention.

It's flapjack time! If you don't want it, may I have it, please?
