Whoah! We're going to IKEA.

Next weekend, to be precise. It looks like we're not taking a van, as we only need smallish stuff, and the big stuff that we were going to shift with the oh anyway it all turned into a faff. So, Cambridge people, if you want something from IKEA that will fit in a Renault 5, let me or addedentry know before Saturday.

We will need to know:

- catalogue name/number
- any applicable colour/design options
- any acceptable substitutes
- your inside leg measurement (we're just nosey)
- you're beginning to think you might as well just bloody well go yourself, aren't you?

We are. Edmonton is a bit nearer, but the promotions for the new Milton Keynes store sidled up to us, whispering promises into our collective ear of clean Scandinavian lines in a city of clean Scandinavian lines, and we were seduced.

It's not often we'd get the chance to say, oh, we were just passing, so be warned that we might take your query as an invitation. And if you'd like a SVIKLITT or a VESTBODA (http://www.minimarketing.it/ikea_gen.htm)...

Bother, the branch at Milton Keynes has suffered from the rush and doesn't have all the items we want (or are buying for other people) in stock.

We'll have to drop by another time - j4 often drives through Milton Keynes en route to Oxford, and after all Bedfordshire does advertise itself as 'central to the Oxford-Cambridge arc'.
