Without googling, where do you think Preeshenlle is? And (for bonus points) how do you think it is pronounced?

Hmmm. I've never heard of Preeshenelle but I did grow up not very far from Wem (as in the title of this entry), which is in itself not very far from Prees (pronounced Preece). The station announcements in Shrewsbury would tell us that the train at platform foo was calling at Yorton, Wem, Prees, Whitchurch, Wrenbury, Nantwich and Crewe.

Am I warm?
