We're missing an image for the new tab in this year's Graduate Studies Prospectus, so I drew my own to fill the gap during a 5-minute coffee-break. Graphic design isn't my strong point, so if you look closely you may be able to tell which one is mine:

Date: 2006-07-14 11:25 am (UTC)That's the "on" colour. Clearly differentiated from the "off" colour by being a subtly different shade of grey. It's, you know, kinda minimalist.
Apparently our corporate image is supposed to be "Global, meritocratic, innovative, and excellent" ... but not "interesting", fortunately.

Date: 2006-07-14 11:22 am (UTC)If I didn't congratulate you and Meg when you announced your engagement then I certainly should have done so; and if I did, then there's no harm in doing so again, so congratulations! May your ducks never lose their feathers. :-) Unless ducks are supposed to lose some feathers in order to be able to fly, or something. I don't actually know very much about ducks except that they're quite unlike badgers.
Oh, and I think you should webcast the ceremony for all the people who can't get there -- wedding 2.0! 8-)

Date: 2006-07-14 07:27 pm (UTC)Out of purely academic interest, do you happen to know when the Graduate Studies Prospectus is expected to appear? (I may be looking at some sections with interest, although the recent phrase "Those with more than a year of experience (between graduation and enrolment) are unlikely to be successful" suggests I should also consider other options.)

Date: 2006-07-14 08:51 pm (UTC)Theoretically, the publication date for the web version of the GSP is 1st August, but it's quite likely to be about a week late (it usually is, and this year has had more, er, staffing issues than previous years).
The paper version's actually already out, I believe -- but I'm not sure how you'd request it online when it's still the old version of the request form (http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/univ/gsprospectus/request_form/). Hmmm.
(I could just email you the PDFs of the relevant sections, but that sort of thing is probably Deprecated. ;-)
