Frankly, good riddance.

So despite the Current Financial Climate, one 'Stockbroker'[*] will be happy...

Oh, and I know it's too late now, but the meeting scheduled for "Tuesday 13th" was almost certainly meant to be on Tuesday 14th rather than Monday 13th.

:-) Yeah, it was. Or rather is. Today, I mean. I hoped it was, because they'd done a 'meet-o-matic' to see whether Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday would be best, & waited till Monday morning to tell people the answer, & then I saw "Tuesday" and was relieved that the meeting wasn't, like, the same day, and also thought "right, so I can book this other meeting for Monday at 2pm", and then someone pointed out the confusion over dates so I was cross with myself for not reading the email properly, but fortunately I made the same mistake as the person who wrote it, so, er. The world of admin is really exciting, isn't it?

The general rule is that most people are more aware of the day of the week than of the date, so if the date and the day don't match you can guess the mistake was with the date and not the day.

At least the person who wrote the email didn't say "Oh, you spotted my deliberate mistake. I put that there to catch you out." Or did they? If they do, you're legally allowed to kill them as long as you use a bow and arrow.
