Right time to reply

A poll, to get some information for a future post (hopefully). Feel free to point other people here (though obviously they'll have to have an LJ account); this isn't Serious Research, but it would be nice to get a decent number of replies.

I've answered solely on the basis of personal communications, because at work I mostly couldn't care less whether or not I get a reply, and if I did get a reply I'd only curse because it would lead to more work.

Additionally, nearly all the personal communications I send are along the lines of "hey, let's meet up and do x" because I prefer to stay in touch with my friends in person. I wouldn't send an email telling someone about everything that's been going on in my life, I'd send one inviting them to do something on Saturday so that I could tell them then. So I expect replies pretty sharpish for diary-planning purposes (especially if it's a no because then I can arrange to do something else and stop keeping time free just in case. Few people understand this concept).
