I constantly invite people to laugh at me, which is why I assumed you were doing the same. Different folks, different uses of LiveJournal. Sincerely sorry.

Apology accepted, & sometimes that kind of thing does seem funny to me, and sometimes I do invite people to laugh at me. But as a general rule of thumb if I'm sufficiently shaky to be crying over nothing, I'm unlikely to find it funny.

OTOH maybe I shouldn't have posted it at all if I wasn't happy for people to say what they wanted in response. <shrug>

Some while ago, around the turn of the year, when things were very bad, some application refused to do something and suggested I check the help file. This latter returned the message 'no help is presently available'. Which was about right.
