Swithering
Dec. 4th, 2003 02:25 pmI was quite keen on going to see whichever number of the Cremaster cycle is on tonight, but I'm really not sure it's a good idea; I'm shattered, I have to be up earlyish tomorrow, I'm working behind the bar tomorrow night, and on Saturday I have to get up at 5:30am. What I really need is sleep.
On the other hand there's now two possible pub plans in competition with the film plan, and if I don't go to the film I probably will go to the pub (because the alternative is sitting at home failing to get to sleep & feeling mopey), and then I'll probably be up just as late as if I go to the film.
Are these films likely to be shown again? Are they available on video/DVD?
Faffing out loud, sorry.

Date: 2003-12-04 06:24 am (UTC)The flyer for the films suggests it's being shown in a tour - I suspect there aren't many prints of it around.
No problem - if you don't feel like watching a bizarre 3 hour long art-house film consider yourself normal :-)

Date: 2003-12-04 06:34 am (UTC)Ideally I'd like to watch the whole cycle at some point, but I'd also like to be able to choose my times a little more than I can at the cinema; I think I'll keep an eye out for the DVDs. Thanks for the info about the tour & release dates etc.
Oh, and "The Order" appears to be 3 quid cheaper on play.com...
