j4Hello! I made cake. And decorated cake. CAKE. There will be photos, probably.
Karate this evening was fantastic. We learned how kicks work. Doing hokku-geri at head height is fun.
This summer I am going to learn to walk on my hands properly. I managed a couple of steps in the kitchen, but ran out of room.
After the caffeine-hangover I started having on Sunday, I daren't stop drinking the stuff. I should try to sleep some time this week.
My Mac says it's 12:01. [sings] "Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday little badger, happy birthday to me." What? Oh, I'm 21 again, of course.

Date: 2004-05-04 05:20 pm (UTC)I think the name means "hooked kick" or something like that; you swing the leg up and forwards and then hook it back (i.e. bend at the knee) as you turn (roughly same sort of turn as for mawashi geri, yoko geri etc). So you can kick somebody in the back of the head. Er, I'll show you some time, I'm not very good at explaining kicks...
