Hello! I made cake. And decorated cake. CAKE. There will be photos, probably.

Karate this evening was fantastic. We learned how kicks work. Doing hokku-geri at head height is fun.

This summer I am going to learn to walk on my hands properly. I managed a couple of steps in the kitchen, but ran out of room.

After the caffeine-hangover I started having on Sunday, I daren't stop drinking the stuff. I should try to sleep some time this week.

My Mac says it's 12:01. [sings] "Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday little badger, happy birthday to me." What? Oh, I'm 21 again, of course.

I'm probably not going to be there, because I'm playing in a concert on Saturday night & I don't want to be falling asleep in the middle of it. Okay, so I am a girly wuss and can't do late nights the way I used to. But I'm the wrong side of 25 now, you know! ;-)

Also there are other people who I suspect didn't go last time largely because my partner and I were going to be there, & I think it might be polite to let them go this time.

It would be good to see you again though... you ever in Cambridge? Give me a shout if so. Might make it to the B-Movie after next (when is it?), but B-Movie isn't the best place for talking anyway...

I'm inclined to avoid Cambridge, particularly when (as you describe) others try to bring Cambridge to my favoured haunts. I would generally advise you not to make their problems your own. OTOH, as you are indeed old and past it (not nineteen like me), it may be the sensible thing so as to be up to Saturday :-) B-Movie isn't the worst place for talking either, particularly with summer on the way.
