Crikey, and this one (http://www.delicates.co.uk/size_jw.html) (UK based) reckons a 32" waist equals a size 18! According to their chart I'm a 14-16, and, well, I know that size 14-16 clothes do not fit me.
I think all we've proved is that the whole thing is nonsense...
I thought corset measurements were supposed to give their laced-shut size, i.e. the smallest size you can get them down to. Isn't that why they say to go for a size 2-4" smaller than your normal waist size?
