Logic puzzle
Sep. 21st, 2004 06:49 pmTomorrow:
- I would ideally like to be in work at 8am, in order to get enough done before I leave at 12:30
- I have to be in Girton in plenty of time for 1:30pm
- I have to be at the train station for 3pm
- I need to pick my car up from AutoElectrical and Car Hi-Fi, on Aylestone Road
- AutoElectrical whatsits open at 8:30am
- It takes me about 25 minutes to walk into work, about 10-15 minutes to cycle
- The bike does not fit in the car
- There is no car parking at work
How does
j4 do all the things she needs to do without cloning herself?
A special "fox, goose and grain" award to anybody who can solve the puzzle before tomorrow morning. Because I bloody can't.
Update: I should have pointed out that the reason I need to be at the station for 3 is so that I can get to Stansted in time for my flight, and I don't want to leave bikes/cars at the station for a week, because they will get nicked/trashed.

Date: 2004-09-21 02:53 pm (UTC)Leaving the bike at the station is probably going to have to form part of the eventual plan, but I only have one D-lock, and apparently you can crack them with a cheap biro. Oh well, I can always buy another bike...

Date: 2004-09-22 02:36 am (UTC)As it is I got in at 8, I will have to leave my car with AutoElectrical for a week, and god knows what I'm going to do about getting to the station, probably just say goodbye to my bike.

Date: 2004-09-21 12:06 pm (UTC)to take more than an hour. So 3/4 of an hour for the service should
give you time to get to the station w/o having to sneak away during
a reading or like.
