Clothes horse

I do not need a khaki silk hoodie jacket. I do not need scarlet silk skirts, gold-coloured Chinese-style silk shirts, or big purple velvet dresses from Monsoon. I do not need a tight-fitting DKNY t-shirt, no matter how gay it looks; and I do not need a big crochet jumper in all the colours of the rainbow. I would never have an occasion on which to wear a electric-blue linen embroidered suit, much less a bizarre black leather party frock with huge leather roses sewn to the front; and while I could probably find occasions on which to wear a skinny-fit Warehouse top with Damien-Hirst-style dots on it, I still don't need any more bloody skinny-fit tops.

I have, however, been looking for a pair of PVC lace-up-the-sides trousers in my size and shape for a very long time. So I bought 'em. :)

Yes, but only for the pockets. Environmental protection and pockets are the only reasons why I see clothes on me as a positive thing. Clothes on other people I can connect to differently, but only if I'm also aesthetically interested in the other person.

No, really -- you haven't seen the state of my room. I have two wardrobes which are stuffed to bursting; four chests of drawers which are bending, breaking, and spilling clothes out all over the place; two plastic storage crates full of clothes; two bags of socks and tights that don't fit in any of the drawers; clothes hanging on the back of my door, clothes hanging on the outside of my wardrobe, clothes in a pile in front of the wardrobe, and six bags full of washing under the desk. Then there's the spare room which is full of my clothes, there are coats of mine in sion_a's room, in the library and in the living room, and half a ton of what would be 'ironing piles' if I ever ironed anything is still residing in the kitchen.

I do not need any more clothes.
