Pasty-faced

I saw someone who looked like
someone I was thinking of
in the queue for the pasty shop,
& it reminded me of this
which bears repeating:

Vinegar

sometimes
i feel like a priest
in a fish & chip queue
quietly thinking
as the vinegar runs through
how nice it would be
to buy supper for two

I can be intensely surreal, but nipples aren't usually in the forefront of my mind when so doing.
